A pantheon, unmoored — drifting between sea and stars.
Each canvas a fragment of the cosmos translated through Naples. Oil, gold leaf, and the Tyrrhenian light Marco grew up with — now refracted through the Northern winter.

From a stage in Naples, to a studio under the Northern Lights.
Marco Cecioni began as a guitarist in the Neapolitan post-punk scene — touring the Mediterranean before the canvas claimed him in his late thirties.
His work treats paint the way he once treated feedback: layered, contrarian, allergic to clean resolution. Gold leaf and oil. Constellations and Mediterranean blue. The duality is the work.
